About The Company

Bolero Resources Corp. is a junior natural resource company focused on the acquisition and exploration of precious and base metal properties in Canada and United States. The Company was incorporated as United Bolero Development Corp. under the British Columbia Company Act on August 13, 1985 and as an extra-provincial corporation on February 13, 2004 in the province of Ontario. On September 19, 2007, the Company name was changed to Bolero Resources Corp. to better reflect the scope of the Company's business endeavours.


Trading on 3 Stock Exchanges

The Company is a reporting issuer in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "BRU" as of September 19, 2007 (previously trading as "UNB"). The Company listed on the Frankfurt Exchange and began trading on October 12, 2005 under the symbol "U7N1". The Company felt it was important to be listed in Europe due to their keen understanding of the mining markets. In addition, the Company is listed on the US OTC market under the symbol UBDVF.


Historical Information

Prior to 2005, Company had been able to integrate oil and gas exploration into its core operations to become both a mineral and oil and gas exploration company. By the end of 2005, the Company's interests in oil and gas properties had been written down to a nominal value. Bolero Resources intends to focus on its core competencies of being a junior mineral exploration and development company. Long Term Goals The company's primary long term goals are as follows:
  • acquiring and developing cash producing assets
  • building and strengthening our core operations in mineral exploration and development
  • increasing shareholder value

Rare Earths

Carbonatite Syndicate
Bolero Resources has acquired a 100% interest in the Carbonatite Syndicate Rare Earth Claim Group, surrounding Spectrum Mining Corporation's recently reported “Wicheeda” rare earth discovery. The Carbonatite Syndicate Claim Group is located 80 km northeast of Prince George, BC and comprises 43 mineral claims covering approximately 16,072 hectares. Drilling highlights from Spectrum’s neighboring property included a 48.64 metre interval which averaged 3.55% rare earth elements ("REE").


Gold Operations

The company has an interest in three gold properties:

Arcadia
The company has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire an option to purchase 50% of the Arcadia Property, a 1,280-hectare area of Inuit-owned land located in Canada’s Nunavut territory from NPN Investment Group Inc. (“NPN”).

Barkerville Mountain
Bolero Resources has entered into an agreement to acquire 11 mining claims of which approximately 2,653 hectares are directly tied on to the northwest, and 1,930 hectares are tied directly east, of the property on which the discovery hole announced October 7, 2009 by International Wayside Gold Mines Ltd. is located.

Red Chris "South"
Bolero Resources has purchased a 100% interest in twelve strategic claims in the Red Chris "South" area of north-western British Columbia. The claims are contiguous with theRed Chris "South" copper-gold property where Imperial Metals Corp. (III - TSX) recently announced drill intercepts of (152.5 metres grading 4.12% copper and 8.83 g/t gold).
